Raising a Mounted TV by Two Inches
Not every job is a full install from scratch — sometimes it's a small adjustment that makes a big difference in how a room actually feels to live in. This LA client had their TV mounted at a height that seemed fine at first, but once their new console and seating were in place, it sat just a couple inches too low for comfortable viewing.

We came back to fix it properly. That meant unmounting the TV, removing the old bracket, and patching the original anchor holes so the wall wouldn't be left looking unfinished. From there, we located new studs at the correct height — a proper remount isn't just sliding the bracket up the same holes, it requires fresh anchor points that can actually support the TV's weight safely.

Once the new bracket was secured, we rehung the TV, leveled it carefully, and centered it above the client's console with the soundbar set up right underneath. The result looks like a completely intentional setup, not a patched-together fix.

Two inches doesn't sound like much on paper, but from the couch, that kind of adjustment changes how comfortable the whole room feels. If your mounted TV has never quite sat right at eye level, it's often a smaller fix than people expect — and worth getting done properly.
