Kitchen Island and Custom Cabinet Assembly Done Right

A kitchen island isn't just another piece of furniture, it's the centerpiece of the room, so it has to be solid, level, and built to handle daily use for years to come. This recent project involved assembling a full white cabinet island with multiple doors and drawers, along with a matching desk unit featuring a polished countertop and soft-close drawer hardware.

Every joint was checked for alignment, every door and drawer tested for smooth movement, and every panel secured properly before the final walkthrough. The result is furniture that looks built-in rather than assembled, clean lines, tight seams, and hardware that opens and closes exactly the way it should.
This kind of multi-piece project takes patience and an eye for detail, rushing it means crooked doors, sticky drawers, or wobbly cabinets down the line. We take the time to get it right the first time.
If you've got a kitchen island, office desk, or any custom furniture piece waiting to be assembled, Grindlex Home Services can handle it from unboxing to final placement.
