This project involved assembling a full set of light natural-wood furniture with woven rattan/cane door panels — a popular but tricky style to put together at home. The set included a wide 4-door sideboard, a matching narrower 2-door console, and a small 2-shelf bookcase.
Rattan-front furniture requires extra care during assembly. The delicate woven panels can warp or crack if hardware is over-tightened, and the cam-lock connectors need to be aligned precisely for the frame to sit square. Our team worked through each piece methodically — unboxing, sorting panels and hardware, following the manufacturer's instructions, and test-fitting drawers and doors before final tightening.
The result: a stable, wobble-free set of furniture that looks as good as it functions. The 2-door console is now doing double duty as a TV stand in the living room, and the whole set gives the room a warm, natural look.
