This project combined two of our specialties: precision TV mounting and full cable concealment. The client had a beautifully carved wood fireplace mantel in their living room and wanted a modern Samsung Frame TV mounted above it — without a single visible wire.
We started by cutting a discreet access panel into the drywall above the mantel and installing a Legrand in-wall power and AV management box. This box houses an outlet and routes both the power cord and HDMI cable directly behind the wall, eliminating the need for any external cable cover or power strip.
Once the box was set and wired, we mounted the TV bracket and hung the Samsung Frame flush against the wall. The result: a clean, gallery-like look where the TV appears to float, with zero visible cables and the ornate mantel below fully intact.
Projects like this take extra planning — cutting into a wall near detailed woodwork means measuring twice and cutting once. But for clients who want a truly polished, cable-free installation, it's worth every extra step.
